Will you stand with the Orang Asli as allies?

every community contributes to a thriving malaysia

Every Malaysian has the power to contribute to building a better nation and world for all of us. The Orang Asli are no exception. In a nation where dignity, justice, and equity are not the birthright of all is a nation that remains unwhole as indigenous people are systemically dispossessed and we all suffer the consequences. Together, we can change this.

Will you join us and walk alongside the Orang Asli, as we strive to build a better, shared, Malaysian future?

It started with a handshake

Our journey began with a bold idea to bridge cultural gaps, was sealed by a simple handshake, nurtured through genuine friendships, and has since become a steadfast conviction that Malaysians must stand with the Orang Asli as allies.

ALlyship is an ongoing journey

And not a fixed destination. The Allyship Continuum offers a robust framework to assess your progress, and supports you as you take intentional steps towards being meaningful allies to the Orang Asli. Add intention to your voice and actions – we’re here alongside you striving for inclusion to be the social norm.

Your choice matters, and they have

A movement becomes unstoppable when it is built upon a series of intentional choices of varying degrees, made by individuals or collectives who refuse to stand by and watch a nation they love remain fragmented.  Will you choose to lend your voice and voice to the fight for a better Malaysia? Join us and our Orang Asli Fellows in our mission to build a more inclusive society where all talents belong.

Join us in building Malaysia’s first indigenous allyship movement

From individuals standing with the Orang Asli as they confront systemic injustices, to institutions reshaping public narratives, and students choosing to engage in respectful dialogue – we see seeds of hope being sown across Malaysia.

We are convinced that this hope will grow into a glorious, nationwide shift in norm – one that is marked by the spirit of allyship with all who call this nation home. The movement is growing – and we’re committed to making it a reality.

the Allyship Pledge

I love Malaysia, and I know she cannot be whole until all who call this land home can thrive freely and fully— including the Orang Asli.

I recognise the Orang Asli as the first peoples of this land. I pledge to stand with them as allies: to listen, to show up, and to fight alongside them for justice, equity, and self-determination.
